Packing advanced technology into a compact and lightweight shell, the Fujifilm XT-5 redefines the standards of still photography. The Pixel Shift Multi-Shot function broadens the creative possibilities for photographers. Additional features like the Smooth Skin Effect and Subject Detection AF, capable of identifying animals and birds, coupled with AI-backed high-precision auto white balance, help users produce high-quality images effortlessly.

The X-T5 maintains the X-T Series' iconic Center Viewfinder style and dial operation design with a new addition of a 1.84-million-dot three-way tilting LCD screen, making it more user-friendly for vertical or waist-level shots. Weighing merely 557g*4, this compact camera is ideal for a range of genres, from street and documentary photography to landscapes and portraiture, demanding superior image quality.

The Fuji X-T5 can record 10-bit 4:2:2 video at 6.2K/30P, has a viewfinder magnification of 0.8x, 3.69-million-dot EVF, and dual SD-card slots, for the ultimate photographic experience.

Joining the X-H2S (released in July) and the X-H (released in September), the Fujifilm X-T5 completes Fujifilm's flagship trio, each optimised for different photography needs. The X-T5, with its compact body, three-way tilting LCD, and dial operations, is tailored for still photography, thereby broadening the visual production genres catered to by Fujifilm's fifth-generation X Series.

The X-T5's back-illuminated 40.2MP sensor "X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR" and improved image processing algorithm deliver advanced image resolution without compromising the S/N ratio, resulting in superior image quality. The sensor's refined pixel structure allows for efficient light absorption. ISO125, which was an extended ISO level in the previous model, is now available as a standard option. This allows users to control exposure time with high precision and set the shutter speed as fast as 1/180000 sec, enabling the use of large-aperture lenses in a wider range of conditions.

Prominently showcasing a Pixel Shift Multi-Shot function, this cutting-edge camera effortlessly multiplies image resolution fourfold, rendering a true colour representation. This feature is particularly beneficial for commercial photography and the digital preservation of cultural relics. This camera's In-Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) precisely shifts the image sensor, enabling the automatic capture of 20 frames with a single shutter click. The captured frames are processed with the bespoke 'Pixel Shift Combiner' software, resulting in an image with approximately 160 million pixels.

Fuji XT5 also incorporates the Smooth Skin Effect, a feature that automatically refines skin tones. This reduces the post-production time typically needed in portrait photography, resulting in a more efficient workflow and a higher level of perfection in the final image.

The X-T5 is a standout with its Deep Learning technology-based Auto White Balance. This AI technology enhances the camera's capacity to automatically determine white balance, for example, by accurately identifying the warm hue of a light bulb.

With a repertoire of 19 Film Simulation modes, including the highly saturated and softly toned "Nostalgic Neg.," the X-T5 lets users select presets designed for various subjects and scenes, akin to choosing a photographic film.

Support for the HEIF image format is another noteworthy feature of the Fujifilm X-T5. This format delivers 10-bit image quality in files that are up to 30% smaller than standard JPEGs, marking a new era in producing high-quality results straight from the X Series cameras.
