Perform firmware updates and custom settings on selected Tamron Canon fit lenses

The unique Tamron TAP-in Console (Model TAP-01) is a lens accessory that allows you to perform firmware updates and custom settings for selected Tamron lenses. Simply connect the Tamron TAP-in Console and use the free Tamron TAP-in Utility software for PC or Mac. Previously, firmware updates could only be performed by our Tamron Customer Service Partner. Features of the Tamron TAP-in Console include: firmware updates such as a) update the firmware of compatible lenses, b) update the firmware of the TAP-in console itself. Adjusting the following functions of selected lenses: a) focus, b) adjust focus distance limiter (only for lenses that have the focus distance limiter function), c) adjust full time manual focus override (only for lenses that have the full time manual focus override function), d) VC adjustment (only for lenses with VC), e) store adjusted data files. The Tamron Tap-in Console is directly compatible with the new Tamron SP lenses. Note: Tamron SP85mm F/1.8 VC USD (F016), Tamron 90mm F/2.8 VC USD (F017), SP 35 and 45mm F/1.8 VC USD lenses must first be made suitable by our service partner for use with the TAP-in Console.
