Immerse yourself in the world of professional photography with the groundbreaking Panasonic Lumix S5II and S5IIX cameras. Powered by a new imaging engine developed within the L2 Technology partnership between LEICA and LUMIX, these mirrorless cameras are the first LUMIX cameras to offer Hybrid Phase Detection Auto-Focus (PDAF), setting a new standard for excellence.

The Panasonic Lumix S5II uses a new Phase Hybrid AF system combining PDAF with Contrast Detect AF for fast and reliable performance and provides 779-area metering, ensuring precise subject detection in challenging situations such as low light and backlighting. Once locked on, the Lumix S5II will remain tracking them, even amidst other moving objects in the frame.

Continuous AF during zooming1 and AF micro adjustment are also available.

With the new imaging engine, the Lumix S5II has video recording capabilities, including 4:2:0 10-bit 6K (3:2) and 5.9K (16:9) at 30fps and 4:2:2 C4K and 4K at up to 60fps. The new low-profile heat management system allows for unlimited recording times without compromising the camera''s compact size. The mirrorless camera also supports High Frame Rate (HFR) recording at up to 120fps and Slow & Quick capture at up to 180fps.

For professional videographers, the Lumix S5IIX offers 5.8K Apple ProRes recording to SSD via HDMI or USB, ALL-Intra Recording, and even Apple ProRes RAW video output to Atomos. Wired and wireless IP streaming, as well as USB tethering, are also supported.

Unlock your creative vision with a range of picture profiles, including the impressive 14+ stop V-Log/V-Gamut. Additionally, the new REAL TIME LUT function allows colour grading LUTs to be uploaded to an SD card and directly applied in-camera rather than in post-production.

Responding to the needs of professionals, the Lumix S5II comes equipped with additional functions like Waveform Monitor, Vector Scope, Zebra Pattern, System Frequency (24.00 Hz), and Synchro Scan. Videos with crystal-clear 48kHZ/240bit audio can be recorded with the built-in or external microphone, and users can even achieve high-resolution 96kHz/24-bit recording using external or XLR microphones.

Thanks to a host of new and improved features, the Panasonic Lumix S5II is able to deliver exceptional photo and video performance. Capture decisive moments with high-speed burst shooting at up to 9fps with the mechanical shutter or an incredible 30fps with the electronic shutter (capable of capturing up to 300 images). The mirrorless camera also comes with 96-megapixel High Resolution Mode (JPEG/RAW) and Dual Native ISO sensitivity, minimising noise and enabling a maximum ISO of 51200 (204800 when Extended).

Say goodbye to shaky footage with the upgraded image stabilisation system of the Lumix S5II. The new Active I.S. optimises horizontal, vertical, and rotational correction, providing highly stable video recording and even handheld shooting in a wide range of conditions and situations. With compensation up to 200% compared to conventional stabilisation, Active I.S. excels in traditionally challenging conditions for handheld shooting, such as using telephoto lenses or filming while walking.

For creators, refined shooting experiences await, delivering excellent results with minimal workflow thanks to features such as AWB Lock, MF Assist (available for both video1 and photo shooting), and the new Live Crop function, which records video footage using the entire sensor surface, allowing users to crop 4K and FHD images afterward.

Navigating the camera's features has never been easier. The Panasonic Lumix S5II comes with a new, easy-to-operate 8-way joystick, an expanded drive dial, and a 3.0-inch free-angle touch-control monitor for better usability. It also features a large 3,680K-dot OLED Live View Finder that offers exceptional visibility and clarity, allowing you to compose your shots with confidence.

The Lumix S5II's tough build makes it ideal for use in the field. With magnesium alloy die-cast front and rear frames and a splash- and dust-resistant build, this mirrorless camera is designed to withstand the rigours of professional photography in challenging conditions and terrain.

Connectivity has been improved over its predecessor, the Lumix S5, with the Lumix S5II featuring a full-size HDMI Type A terminal and high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 2, plus a cable lock holder to prevent unwanted unplugging. Wi-Fi connectivity has also been upgraded from the existing 2.4GHz to 5GHz, ensuring fast and stable performance with your smartphones and tablets.

The dual card slots in the camera support Relay Recording, Backup Recording, and Allocation Recording for flexible storage options.
