The LUMIX S9 is a compact and lightweight full-frame mirrorless camera, making it the smallest and lightest in the LUMIX S Series. It comes in a range of stylish colours, including Smoky White, Jet Black, Crimson Red, Dark Olive, and Classical Blue, catering to the preferences of different content creators. This camera is the perfect on-the-go companion for capturing high-quality content.

The camera is equipped with an advanced approximately 24.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, comparable to that of the LUMIX S5II. This enables the capture of content with rich detail and natural tones. Additionally, the camera features PDAF (Phase Detection Auto-Focus) for excellent subject tracking and Active I.S. technology, which greatly reduces blurring from camera shake when shooting handheld. This allows users to capture high-quality images confidently in any shooting situation.

The LUMIX S9 offers creators the ability to effortlessly access a diverse range of popular, classic, or custom colour styles directly in-camera through the REAL TIME LUT function. This feature is easily accessible via a dedicated ''LUT'' button located on the camera body.

In addition to its existing features, the new LUMIX Lab app empowers creators with the ability to craft their own distinctive LUT colour files directly on their smartphones. This groundbreaking capability enables users to effortlessly produce original and shareable stills and videos without the necessity of post-production editing on a computer, thereby expanding the realm of creative possibilities. Furthermore, the new app enhances the speed of transferring data from the camera to the smartphone, offering an efficient and seamless workflow for content creators.

The LUMIX S9 introduces a groundbreaking recording format called MP4 Lite. This format allows creators to shoot in Open Gate in 4:2:0 10 bit in 30p/25p, enabling them to capture high-quality videos perfectly suited for smartphones. Additionally, creators can effortlessly adjust aspect ratios to tailor their content for various social media platforms using the LUMIX Lab app. This streamlined editing workflow empowers content creators to easily capture, edit, and share their content while on the move.
